On Monday, 25 August 2025, we held a national post peer-learning-activity (PLA) 2 event at the Šolski center Novo mesto. The event was attended by 18 participants from various institutions in Slovenia.
We began by presenting the CL-BVET project, the project partners, the work packages, the project objectives, and the expected results.
We reviewed open badges and two examples of educational programs: Design Thinking and Team Building Activity.
Then we held a round-table workshop. Our joint conclusions were as follows:
1. First, it would be necessary to prepare a program for acquiring competencies for collaborative work in remote project management.
2. From the ideas gathered for naming the training program that would cover these competencies, we suggested that the most appropriate name would be Digital Tools for Effective Project Management.
3. The Open badge that participants would receive upon completing this program would be called: Mastering Digital Tools for Project Work or Digital Skills for Project Management.
4. What learning outcomes should this program have? We believed that participants should be able to select, use, and connect digital tools for project work, collaborate remotely, organize documents in the cloud, and effectively manage tasks and teams in a virtual environment.
5. How would you assess these learning outcomes? Participants would complete a practical assignment, perform various exercises, tasks, simulations, and case studies, and prepare a final project—all with the aim of assessing their knowledge of using digital tools for project work.
6. The optimal duration of this program would be 16 to 20 hours, conducted in a hybrid or fully online format, with participants being active throughout.
The participants of the event proposed that the project team prepare a training program on digital tools for effective project management.
We look forward to the new program.
